Troubleshooting
Syncing Issues
- Activities not syncing? Ensure Apple Watch is paired and nearby, then manually sync from the iPhone menu
- Routes not appearing on Watch? Send routes again using the "Send All Routes to Watch" button
- Watch not connecting? Restart both devices and ensure WiFi/Bluetooth are enabled
GPS & Location
- No GPS signal? Ensure Location Services is enabled in iOS Settings → Trekka Outdoors
- Poor elevation data? Ensure your GPX route file includes elevation data
- Inaccurate trail recording? Keep your iPhone with you during activities — the Watch alone cannot record precise GPS without iPhone
Watch App Issues
- Watch app won't open? Ensure the app is installed via the Watch app on your iPhone → Available Apps
- Screens not customizing? Customization happens on iPhone only — configure via Settings → Watch Settings
- Heart rate not showing? Grant HealthKit permissions and ensure your watch is snug
